”Coprolites were found, and apparantly worked at Lilley Hoo in the 1880‘s at the bottom of the chalk-marl.• (I.J.O‘Dell‘s original �A Vanished Industry‘, 1951, Luton Museum p17.) Who was working them or when they were extracted has not as yet come to light.
