Footpath 6 (Everton) is to be discontinued.
It used to start at the Woodbury Low Farm crossroads and was a continuation of
Bridleway 6 (Tempsford). It is unusual as it is only about 250 metres in length
and stops at a field drain (TL 187534). It used to connect with Bridleway 4 and continue towards the
Medieval settlement at Story Moats to the southeast but, with the construction
of Tempsford Airfield in 1941, the Air Ministry closed this and other footpaths
and bridleways running across the airfield.
